Sound at this level of fidelity has largely lived behind closed doors. In private listening rooms, in recording studios, in the collections of a few. Meanwhile, sound itself has become more available than at any point in human history, and less felt. Streamed constantly, compressed, delivered through earbuds and algorithms, separated almost entirely from the body. The installations exist to change that relationship.
